So taking inspiration from the great Annie Leibovitz I'm about to start a Disney photograph series of Snow White, Peter Pan, Pocahontas, Cruella De Ville, Alice in Wonderland, Mulan, and Pinocchio... I have some amazing models, now i just need the outfits... I think some serious charity shop trawling is in need. I'm thinking maybe modernising Mulan slightly with a replica pistol instead of a samurai sword, simply because I have one and not the other... Good idea?
The series by Leobovitz by the way is incredible! If you haven't seen it yet check it out! She hasn't copied exactly what the characters wear, but captured their essence really well! And it's so interesting to see actors in photographs as characters that have already been depicted for so many years as stereotypical princesses or princes, and the new faces bring them to life in a whole new way.
